paul·a·ver

Tidings to the tribe. Trash that’s trivial.

If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in.

About Paulaver

I’m Paul, and Paul·a·ver is my personal weblog, where I record events in my family’s life and notes about my running and other activities, to keep friends and family up-to-date on our day-to-day in Louisville, Kentucky.

Louisville is home to the Louisville Lip, the Louisville Slugger, and the Kentucky Derby. I hate to give up the secret, but it’s a great place to live with wonderful parks, fantastic restaurants, a pleasant and temperate climate, and good people.

In case it’s abstruse, “Paul·a·ver” is a play on words, involving my name, “ver” as in both “to see” and “verse,” “verbose,” “verb,” and other “word” words, along with “palaver” as in idle chatter, or to give it a Kentucky flavor: horse crap.
